Important Information on Visas for travel to North Macedonia
This information is regarding the invitations for the delegates attending the CRF 2019 Annual Conference in Skopje and Ohrid, North Macedonia.
In terms of regulating the entry visas for some of the participants whose countries the Republic of North Macedonia has a visa regime with, please take note of the following:
- We advise invited delegates to use the assistance of their foreign ministry in the application process for obtaining a visa. The Foreign Ministry can inform the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of North Macedonia, where the delegate will apply for a visa in order to make the process faster.
- Note that for delegates who in a private capacity want to take part in the conference, it is advisable for them to obtain (if possible) a certificate or document that proves their occupation is related to the fields and topics covered by the CRF 2019 conference.
- Furthermore, delegates should be advised to indicate to the Conference organizers in which Embassy or Consulate of Republic of North Macedonia they plan to submit their documentation for visa thus simplifying the procedure of obtaining a visa.
- Please note that all participants can choose to apply in any Embassy or Consulate that best suits to their journey to Skopje keeping in mind that the visa documentation can be submitted by post however the issuing must be done in person.
