    Melbourne, Australia 2005 10th - 11th March The first General Meeting of the Asia Pacific Corporate Registers Forum was sponsored by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in Melbourne on 10-11 March 2005. Following on from the success of the inaugural meeting of this group in February 2003, the current and new members came together under the guidelines of the then proposed Constitution to determine the future of the Forum. The meeting included: Discussion and sign off of the Constitution Election of an Executive Committee Agreement to subscription costs to the Forum Planning for future General Meetings and forums On 9 March, preceding the AGM, current and new members enjoyed a tour to the major processing and data capturing centre of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), based in the beautiful Latrobe Valley about 2 hours from Melbourne. It was subsequently amended at the Vancouver Forum on 3 April 2008, further amended at the Auckland forum on 14 March 2013 and again at the Hong Kong forum on 9 March 2017.     Datuk Nor Azimah representing Malaysia Datuk Nor Azimah Executive Member - Global REPRESENTING: Malaysia - Labuan Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) Nor Azimah Abdul Aziz has been appointed as CEO of the Companies Commission of Malaysia effective May 1, 2020. Prior to this appointment, she was the Deputy CEO (DCEO) of Regulatory & Enforcement and thereafter, DCEO of Corporate Services between the period of 2016 to 2020. She started her career in 1992 as an Advocate and Solicitor and from there on served as a Law Lecturer at the Accounting Department, Faculty of Business and Management, National University of Malaysia (UKM). She joined SSM as General Manager of the Corporate Policy, Planning and Development Department in 2003 and oversaw the passing of significant pieces of legislations under the purview of SSM, among others, the Companies Act 2016, Interest Schemes Act 2016, Limited Liability Partnership Act 2012 and Companies (Amendment) Act 2007.     Tim Moss CBE representing United Kingom Tim Moss CBE Past President and Executive Committee Member REPRESENTING: United Kingdom Companies House Tim Moss was the former Registrar of Companies for the UK and Chief Executive of Companies House. He moved from that role to become the Comptroller General and CEO of UK Intellectual Property Office. He was appointed to the role of Registrar in March 2012. He was the 31st Registrar in a line going back to 1844. Tim was awarded the CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2016. Tim joined CH in 2002 and has held many senior positions within the organisation covering operational and corporate functions, leading the digital transformation, various legislative reforms and the move to open data. Before joining CH Tim spent 12 years in senior operational roles in the manufacturing industry, he has a Natural Sciences degree from Cambridge University, an MBA from Swansea University and lives on a farm in South Wales. In 2013 Tim became the first ever President of CRF; he sat on the ECRF Steering Committee and was Conference Director for the Joint CRF & ECRF Conference in 2016. The Central register is self-financed government institution, which is currently in a process of upgrading the existing solutions with a new comprehensive service model – covering all significant aspects that directly affect the quality of services. Her vision for the Central register arises directly from the needs of the private sector and all service users (including foreign and domestic investors), and from the institutional need to access and share up-to-date information in order to increase the efficiency of their work.
