Recent law reforms in Chile has created a new company registry within the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism. Current systems are manual so the Ministry are keen to introduce an online electronic register.

A key area of interest for the delegation was New Zealand’s company registration system “Enterprise” and also it’s business portal “Biz.govt”. Our journey from paper to a fully on line electronic register was discussed at length as were risks, issues and lessons learnt. A visit to our ICT partners Foster Moore was also invaluable with the delegation taking a keen interest in their Catalyst product and how that may work in Chile.

An invitation to join CRF was also extended to Chile.
